Master of Finance / MBA - Houston
Alternate Weekend Joint Degree Program
Earn an Tulane MBA degree in any of our degree programs at Tulane and you can earn a Master of Finance degree in just seven months.
To apply, you will need to:
- complete a brief application.
- submit an updated resume.
To qualify, you must:
- have earned your Tulane MBA degree within the past three years.
- have completed the courses in the first half of the Houston MFIN curriculum while in the Tulane MBA program.
- have earned grades in the finance courses you completed that indicate quantitative strength.
If you have earned a finance concentration in a Tulane MBA program within the past three years, we will waive those courses in the MFIN program. Essentially, you will have completed all the courses in the first half of the MFIN program during your MBA curriculum. To earn an MFIN degree, you will then only need to complete the remaining courses in the MFIN program to earn a Master of Finance degree.
You earn your Master of Finance Degree in just seven months.
- You enter the MFIN program in August, midway through the program.
- You complete the MFIN curriculum in February.
- You are awarded your diploma, earning your MFIN degree, in May.
